I just came home from a fun weekend in Minneapolis. I was very excited to find an email telling me that I can now view the description of the family I will be living with in Costa Rica. There are four people living in the house. A couple, a sister of the female, and one daughter who is 7. The sister is 22 and a student. I could not think of a better situation. The college student will help me see how college students in Costa Rica live, while the 7 year old will help me remember to laugh at my mistakes as I learn the language.

I also found out that they will have wireless internet available for me to use. My parents were relieved to see that I can receive calls, but I'm still confident that the communication tool we will use most often is Skype. The house is very close to the university where I will be studying Spanish each morning. From what I can tell, the family seems to be pretty relaxed and reading about them made even more excited to go. Hopefully, that will help me get through my doctor's appointment tomorrow which I am sure will include a couple vaccinations.
